- I was banned permanently for Purp RDM 4th Offense
Hey lads, back again with another appeal, to no ones surprise its a Purp RDM again, this time permanently. I know that when people think about me and my past actions, Purp RDM isn't exactly sticking out like a sore thumb, as its appeared frequently on my record. Yet again, the person who fell to my actions, was Nightmare.
I want to address this quickly as i feel like it needs to be talked about, since my past two bans, were both from reports Nightmare had made on me for my actions. I am not actively targeting Nightmare or anyone else on the server for that matter, genuinely its just poor timing from me, when i want to get playful with someone, it turns out its the wrong person to get playful with, I'm not having a dig at Nightmare, i understand why he might be annoyed at what I've done, but i feel like some circumstances with this are just unlucky, so to Nightmare, i am sorry for what I've done, I'm not expecting forgiveness, but i am going to do my absolute best efforts, if I'm allowed to play again, to make sure that its not you that this happens to, since you have a very unique playstyle amongst everyone else, and don't want to be interrupted in that, which is understandable, and i get your frustration.
So i guess its time for me to move on to what actually happened in today's case. We were playing on MC Dolls, the incident happened in the upper vents side of the map, i was at the far side of the vents, with Charbander, and Nightmare had just came up the lift onto the upper vent. i wanted to be a bit playful with the next person who came up the lift, and shove them back down it with my Energy Sword, in this instance, when Nightmare approached, i pushed him back, and then his trajectory went way further to the left than it should have, where he then curved into the doorframe just outside the upper vent, bounced off of it, and went off the map. considering my trajectory was pretty much straight in front of me, and i made sure i wasn't aiming at any kind of hazard, i believed it was totally safe to mess around like this. Now I'm not accusing Nightmare of doing this deliberately, as it would be normal to frantically press keys when you're airborne and are trying to stabilize yourself. but i feel like that may have slightly contributed to the trajectory of where he was going from the start, to where he landed at the end, as pushing someone, will only launch them straight forward and up, from where you are aiming, for it to curve that much, there has to be some human input involved. So i believe that this isn't entirely my fault.
I understand that with this, i have broken the trust of many people, such as Rocker, and Jerome, who said that my last ban appeal, was my final chance to change, and i promise that i did change, but this, is genuinely just a really unfortunate set of events, that spiraled into what's happened today.
This server means the absolute world to me, its my escape from reality, and as much as it might sound terrible to say, it helps me to forget all the problems i have, by just playing with people, whether they like me, hate me, or are in between, who all know how to have fun.
In this appeal, I'm not asking for total forgiveness from parties involved, I'm asking for consideration as to what might have occurred at the time, and what contributed to those factors besides just my push.
I also understand that with this, i ultimately am accountable for the most part, as it was my action that kickstarted the spiral of events, however, it wasn't all entirely on me.
I really hope that this appeal doesn't rub people the wrong way at all, its taken quite a few rewrites to figure out how to word certain things, and put things in a certain way that doesn't victimize me, or put the blame immediately on other people.
