7/31/2023 Development Log

Good Morning Everyone, and welcome to the Development Log for July the 31st, 2023. Today we are releasing a new crate called the Boxed Water Crate, we hope you guys enjoy and please stay tuned for future dev logs as we are actively working on new content. We may also add additional content to the Boxed Water Crate based on Player Feedback.

Due to how long it’s been since the last Development Log there is likely some changes listed that you’ve already seen, since we make sure to list any changes since the last development log.

A quick note that not all changes may be listed on our Development Logs, as we may be working on stuff we don’t want to talk about a good example would be future events.

What are we currently working on?

  • A new event inspired by the God Event is in the works. We plan to release it in the coming weeks so stay tuned for more information.

  • Adding the ability for you to stack items that have a decon multiplier.

    • Prioritize splitting items with a lower decon multiplier first.
  • Reworking some of the Event Rounds, Gun Game and TNT-Tag.

  • Updates to the TTT Base, bringing most of it to the current ver of TTT provided by Facepunch.

The Items below are things that we have previously announced but are currently on-hold due to various reasons.
  • Temp & Loan Trade Menu Rework.

  • A rework of Taunts, this rework of Taunts will include a change for all taunts to be First Person but will no longer take up your special slot in the inventory. After equipping your Taunts; you would then hold your taunt key which will bring up a Radial Menu to select a Taunt.

TTT Changelog:

General Changes:

  • Added a new AFK Prevention System which requires you to press a key after 5 Minutes of inactivity.

  • Improved the Formatting of Trade Logs to make it easier for Players and Staff to interpret.

  • The Nostalgia Crates price now automatically updates based on what crates are in it.

  • Limited 2x Drops to have 1 chance per map vote to roll, rather than 1 chance per map on the map vote.

  • Increased odds of 2x Drops again.

  • Power-Ups are now disabled during Event Rounds.

  • Put the Warzone Crate, Glitch Crate, Beta Crate and Aqua Palm Crate back into the Nostalgia Crate.

  • Making Bouncy Balls Throwable with right click.

  • Bouncy Balls have a chance to heal or damage you for 5 HP when you eat them.

  • Bullet Force increased back to Original Base TTT Bullet Force (0.6 → 10)

  • The AFK System will no longer kick you unless there are 28 Players online.

  • Added a new Rarity Weapon Effect for Extincts, this operates similar to the Interstellar Weapon Effect.

  • The temp & loan trade menu now refreshes every minute, allowing people to see updates that happen with the trades rather than having to wait for map change or restart.

  • Knife, Predator Blade, Harpoon & Boomerang Addicted is no longer locked to gaining progress as a traitor.

  • Added a command called !selfpo which allows you to check your own past offenses.

  • You can now select Celestial as the “Minimum rarity required to see others/yourself obtained items”.

  • Random Map Event Rounds require at least two rounds to pass now prior to another Random Map Event Round occurring.

  • Stalker Event Round:

    • Changed it to where only the Stalker Bleeds during a Stalker Round.
    • The Stalker Knife can now Two Tap.
    • Stalker can no longer use Health Stations.
    • Stalker Rewards are now the same as Apache Rewards.
    • Fixed Stalker not being invisible.
  • Fixed util.StartBleeding/DoBleed still running if the Entities Blood Color is set to DONT_BLEED.

  • Increased Shop Buy Limit from 2,000 → 10,000.

  • Added the ability to increase buy amount by 1,000 when holding Left Alt.

  • Added revamped Power Up Icons for the Dodo’s Wings, Ghostly Shape, Gift Of Giving, and Rotting Flesh Power Ups. A special thanks to Data for his work on making these revamped icons.

  • Added Share Screenshot and Reload Icons to the Loadout Icons.

Weapon Changes:

Duel Silencers (Bond’s Double Friend):

  • Classified as “Semi-Auto Pistol”.

Akimbo Pistols (Akimbonitos):

  • Classified as “Automatic Pistol”.

Golden Deagle (Bond’s Best Friend):

  • Recoil Reduced from 5 → 3 (+)

Deagle TE (Bond’s Best Peep):

  • Recoil Reduced from 5.5 → 4 (+)

TMP:

  • Recoil Reduced from 1.35 → 1.15 (+)

First Kiss:

  • Firerate decreased from (-60% → -76%) → (-70% → -85%) (-)

General Weapon Changes:

  • All weapons now shoot tracers for each time a bullet is shot, this is an experimental change to test how this will affect the flow of gameplay.

  • Added missing Impact Effects from the original Weapon Packs for the following weapons: Dart Pistol, Balrog V, Laser Fists and Star Chaser SR.

  • Added missing Tracers from the original Weapon Packs for the following weapons: M3 Shark, Balrog V, M4A1 Dark Knight, Desert Phoenix, Dual Desert Phoenixes, MP7 Phoenix, Elven Ranger, Ethereal, M2 Master, MG36 Xmas, Paladin V8, SG552 Cerberus, Star Chaser SR, Void Avenger and X-TRACKER.

  • Lowered the volume of the Idle Sounds for the following weapons: Elven Ranger and Laserfist.

  • Removed the Idle Sound from the following weapons: M4A1 Dark Knight, Paladin V8, Star Chaser SR and SG552 Cerberus.

Talent Changes:

Frost:

  • Movement Speed Decreased from (25% → 50%) to (15% → 30%) (-)

Sabotage:

  • Sabotage no longer procs during event rounds.

Mark:

  • Mark no longer procs during stalker event rounds.

Blood Sacrifice:

  • Chance Increased from (10% → 25%) to (25% → 50%) (+)

Powerup Changes:

Ammo Hoarder:

  • Reserve Ammo Stat (45% → 125%) to (75% → 125%) (+)

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Fall Damage Deaths caused by Dragonborn, Tug of War, Invisible Reindeer, Blunderbus and Upper Cut not properly showing up as Player Fall Damage Kills

  • Fixed Copycat being able to copy non-weapons.

  • Fixed the “Blank” Inventory Spaces that were appearing when new inventory slots were created while in the inventory.

  • Fixed Role Chat Colors overriding the previous chat color, when putting in role colors.

  • Fixed Crazy Sparks not properly working when enabled. (ttt_crazy_sparks ConVar)

  • Fixed Two Duplication Glitches involving Temp Trades and the Stacking System.

  • Fixed Engrams not rolling the proper rarities.

  • Fixed Items posted in chat not showing up for alive players, if you’re in spec when the round is not active.

  • Fixed Stalker HP Multiplier getting changed to the wrong Multi when the Event Round Ends.

  • Fixed the Item Queue Chat Message not properly sending in chat.

  • Fixed not being able to post up to 12 Inventory Items, leading to loadout binds not working.

  • Fixed specific guns getting the wrong talent level due to Tier 4 Forced Level Requirements.
