I was banned due to being a "pedophile". The context of which was based on jokes on VC yesterday. Initially, another player started calling me a faggot and all. I was playing off of that as a joke and agreeing. I wasn't taking him seriously, and my whole demeanor was joking. He then accused me of being on the server to groom kids, and I agreed as a joke as well. Do I think that was a foolish thing to joke around with? Yes, in retrospect. However, in the moment, I was immediately saying afterward that I was playing around and not being serious. There haven't been any instances of severe misbhavior prior to this. Xeta Ray was there and banned me. I only heard him mutter one thing about it which I don't think I fully heard. I feel that this ban is a double standard because I believe that if I am to be punished, the guy literally saying I was there to groom kids should face the same punishment. We hadn't even had any animosity. My tone was joking. I had no intention of fighting with the guy and was just agreeing passively to everything he said. I'm no danger to anybody. I play and get my dailies and log off these days anyways. I barely play much, but I feel that this is damaging to me as an individual for me to be labelled that in any capacity. I ask for understanding in the fact that this was instigated through a hostile user who I was trying to joke around with.
